It is a destination that combines authenticity, natural beauty and tranquility.

Sights

The traditional settlement of Chora, with its whitewashed houses, red tiled roofs and cobbled streets, retains the authentic island atmosphere. Important sights are the old Venetian castle and the numerous churches, the most impressive of which is the small church of Agios Ioannis in Kastri, perched on a rock above the sea.

The beaches of Skopelos stand out for their cleanliness and natural beauty. Stafylos and Velanio are located near Chora, while further afield you will find Panormos with its calm waters, Milia with its extensive sandy beach and the cosmopolitan Kastani, famous for the filming of Mamma Mia!
